O'Reilly Law Group : Litigation

We offer our clients the highest quality representation for settling or mediating serious personal injury cases right up through trial if necessary. We take particular care in assessing your case and providing honest legal advice prior to accepting your case. While your focus is to hire an attorney who can provide you with the best possible representation, our focus is on providing quality legal representation by handling a minimal number of hand-picked cases rather than on quantity of caseload.

Automobile Accidents. An automobile accident can happen at any time and on any day causing serious personal injuries and severely impacting your life. Even in a simple fender bender, an individual can suffer serious back, neck or internal injuries that may have lasting, adverse effects. If you have been injured in an automobile accident, our experienced personal injury attorneys may be able to help recover your damages.

Medical Malpractice. Although doctors and other health care professionals go through extensive training in order to deal with health care issues, it doesn't make them perfect. Medical practitioners assume a tremendous amount of responsibility; nonetheless, they are required by law to exercise a degree of care and skill that a medical practitioner in the same position and of the same specialty would use under a similar circumstance. Consequently, if you believe that you as a patient, or your loved one, suffered an injury as the result of the negligent act of a health care provider, we would like to review your case.

Medical and Nursing Home Neglect. Oftentimes we must make the difficult decision of placing a loved one in a care facility, only to discover that the patient is being neglected or abused. Patients who are not properly cared for may develop bed sores, ulcers, pneumonia or other diseases or conditions. Due to neglect, a patient may become malnourished or dehydrated, or the patient may even fall, resulting in bone fractures or other disabling injuries. Any of these injuries or conditions can have a tremendous impact on the health and well-being of an already fragile individual. If you suspect that your loved one has developed serious health issues as the result of medical neglect or abuse in a hospital, nursing home, convalescent home or similar care facility, please contact us immediately.

Product Liability. Oftentimes people are injured as a result of a malfunction or incorrect usage of a particular product rather than the direct negligence of another individual. A claim for products liability can be as the result of a defect in design, a defect in manufacturing, or a failure to warn of potential risks. If you believe you've suffered an injury as the result of a product defect, our team of professionals are ready to talk to you.

Premises Liability. The legal theory of "premises liability" holds owners and occupiers of property legally responsible for accidents and injuries that occur on their property. Incidents of the premises liability variety can range from a slip and fall to an injury sustained on an amusement park ride. Do you need an attorney to pursue a premises liability claim for you? If so, please contact us.

Catastrophic Injuries. A catastrophic injury tends to be devastating and permanent in nature. These types of injuries often happen suddenly, without any warning. A catastrophic injury typically results in a serious impairment to one or more of the body's systems, including the nervous, skeletal or muscular systems, ultimately having a severe impact on not only the injured person's life, but on the lives of his or her loved ones as well. Our team of professionals can help you and your loved ones get the medical and/or psychological treatment required for the best possible recovery, assist in obtaining reimbursement for the costs involved with such treatment, and, if possible, recover damages for the injuries sustained.

Wrongful Death. In the unlikely event that any of the above situations result in the wrongful death of your loved one, you and/or other immediate members of the decedent's family may be able to make a claim for wrongful death. If the death was caused, in whole or in part, by the conduct or negligence of someone else, regardless of whether there was any intent involved, that individual may be strictly liable for the decedent's death. As a result, the family of the decedent who may have been financially or emotionally dependent on the decedent, and who will suffer from the decedent's death, may be entitled to monetary damages. If you believe you may have a claim for wrongful death, we are here to help.
